My dear friends, Gloria and Gregg Varney, owners of Nezinscot Farm, have generously given me space to teach lessons and to sell musical supplies and instruments. Lessons offered in fiddle, viola, cello, folk guitar, mountain dulcimer, Celtic harp, bass, sax, flute, clarinet, piano, voice, and more upstairs in the Farm Store. Strings, violin supplies, cool instruments and CDs available as well upstairs among the antique furniture for sale. Delicious breads, pastries, cheeses, Equal Exchange coffee and tea, lunches, wine, organic groceries and more downstairs! This year (2011-2012) I'll be teaching there on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My newest location for teaching lessons, offering classes and concerts is this lovely building in Brunswick, Maine. Instruments taught are fiddle, mountain dulcimer, piano, voice, mandolin, violin, viola, cello, bass, folk guitar, flute, saxophone, and clarinet. Bill and I play for the annual All-Church Contradance in the vestry. Open to all friends of the church! 

Special Guests Bill Olson (guitar, calls) and Pam Weeks (fiddle, dulcimer), who were a multi-tasking "core duo" long before any chip-makers discovered the term, hold the fort on Friday night of the Presidents' Day Weekend. A great start to your Flurry (or non-Flurry) weekend!

Workshops start Friday at 2pm, I'll be in the workshop leaders' concert in the evening, and hosting a fast jam after that. Saturday morning we start bright and early with a gathering at 9am and workshops all day. The evening concert will feature Don Pedi and Susan Trump.
