Pam Weeks: Guestbook

It was great to talk with you at fiddle camp. Listening to you playing the dulcimer was a treat. The delicacy with which you play is wonderful. One of these days when I fell comfortable playing the penny whistle, I can join fiddleicious where my wife plays and be a bandmate.

In the last four years, Pam has helped me immensely as a singer. Working with her has increased my range, my repertoire, my musicianship and my tonal quality. She has improved everything about my instrument and my art.

Thanks to her, I'm a better singer now, at 50, than I was when I was 40. She has helped me meet one of my major goals: To be able to maintain and even improve my voice into my later years.

I went to the concord dance a couple days ago. Your music was great. I hope you plan to play there again as well as NH,and MA. It is sometimes difficult to find southern and new england music locally.

You hear from me every once in a while. I am from Maine but live in Finland and the last time I was 'home' I bought some of your cds. Since then we have started a music club and have collected many of your tunes to play and most recently one of our members made a dulcimer for me to learn to play!! It's beautiful! He calls it a dull-chee-mer and I call it a dull-sim-er. Which is it?
Hoping to dance to your music again next summer, Cynde

I was looking at Jeremy's website and clicked on the tune there you were playing. It was the very same tune I was listening to on your CD at home! I just love the lilt in your waltz. Can't wait to have you in VT!

Hi Pam,
Thanks for the regular updates. I would love to see you all play sometime. Maybe soon. I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at Liberty Maine Fiddle camp this year. I hope to be able to attend again this summer. Such a great assortment of talent and instruction! Maybe see you soon.

I love your work! And the new Web site is great too. Especially the part that says: "Future projects include a "solo" album of Scandinavian music on mountain dulcimer." I can't wait!
